California Transparency in Supply Chains Act

Harris Spice Company is committed to conducting business in a lawful, ethical, and responsible manner. We expect our suppliers to uphold standards consistent with our values regarding human rights, labor practices, and workplace safety.

Harris Spice’s agricultural products are sourced through suppliers who often work with small, family-operated farms. We strive to ensure that materials used in our products are obtained through ethical and fair labor conditions. In all countries where we operate, our facilities comply with applicable local laws, and employees are provided fair wages, reasonable working hours, and safe working environments.

Verification

Harris Spice evaluates its supply chain to assess and address risks of human trafficking and forced labor. This includes internal assessments of suppliers and sourcing practices.

Audits

Harris Spice conducts periodic internal assessments of its food sourcing suppliers to evaluate compliance with our Supplier Code of Conduct. These assessments are not conducted by independent third-party auditors and are not unannounced audits.

Certification

Harris Spice requires suppliers to comply with all applicable labor and employment laws. Our Supplier Code of Conduct requires suppliers to certify that their operations adhere to standards prohibiting child labor, forced labor, and human trafficking.

Internal Accountability

Harris Spice maintains internal policies and procedures that reinforce ethical business conduct and compliance with applicable laws. Suppliers are expected to adhere to our Supplier Code of Conduct, and violations may result in termination of business relationships.

Training

Harris Spice provides training and guidance to employees involved in supply chain management to help identify and mitigate risks related to human trafficking and forced labor.

We seek to ensure that quality, safety, and employment standards are maintained throughout our supply chain.
