BRCGS Global Standard for Food Safety

Our U.S. and Vietnam facilities are certified to the BRCGS Global Standard for Food Safety, meeting internationally recognized GFSI requirements for product safety, quality, and traceability.

Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit (SMETA)

Harris Spice facilities participate in the Supplier Ethical Data Exchange (SEDEX) and undergo SMETA audits to ensure compliance with globally recognized standards for labor rights, worker safety, environmental responsibility, and ethical business practices.


Quality Assurance International (QAI) Organic Certification

QAI certifies Harris Spice organic products produced in our Anaheim, CA facilities. Through QAI’s approval process, we are able to supply compliant organic bulk, foodservice, and retail products that meet USDA National Organic Program requirements.

Control Union Organic Certification

Control Union certifies organic products in our Vietnam facility, enabling us to supply USDA, EU, and JAS-compliant goods across global markets for ingredients and finished products.

Rainforest Alliance / UEBT Certification

Harris Spice Vietnam participates in the Rainforest Alliance/UEBT certification program, supporting responsible sourcing, biodiversity protection, and ethical trade across select spice supply chains. This certification enables us to supply Rainforest Alliance Certified products which comply with internationally recognized sustainability standards.

ISO 9001 Certification

Certification to ISO 9001 demonstrates that our Vietnam facility maintains a structured, efficient Quality Management System focused on consistency, control, and continuous improvement.

ISO 17025 Certification

Our Vietnam laboratory is accredited to ISO/IEC 17025, the international standard for testing and calibration competence. This accreditation verifies that our laboratory methods, equipment, and quality controls produce accurate, reliable, and scientifically valid results for product testing and analysis.

C-TPAT Supply Chain Security

Harris Spice participates in the U.S. Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT), a security program led by U.S. Customs and Border Protection. This certification verifies that our supply chain follows strict standards for cargo security, risk assessment, and international trade compliance.

OU Kosher Certification

Certified by the Orthodox Union, our products meet rigorous kosher standards for ingredient sourcing, processing, and facility controls.
